sorta stretchy, not see through, good quality, nice color6yo daughter is a 6-6x in clothing. I bought the black 6-8 and it fits perfect and snug. There is good stretch to it but it’s thicker so it would not be comfortable to try to squeeze into.My daughter needed a nude colored leotard for her Halloween costume. She is quite petite and about a month shy of 3 years old. She wears a 2T in most clothes but her waist still needs 18month pants sometimes. She swims in 3T clothing. After reading the reviews, I felt confident that the 2-4 size would fit her. It fits nicely without being too snug or loose; however, it would never fit a child in 4T clothes. We might be able to use it through 3T clothes but it definitely runs small.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and glad I read and listened to the reviews.Love it for my 3 y/o and our maternity shoot! It would also work great for dance outfitsPurchased for my daughter's Judy Hopps costume and fit like a charm! I wish there had been snaps on it though for easier bathroom breaks. I just ended up cutting the crotch area so she didn't have to take the entire thing off when she had to go to the bathroom. This worked for us because she was wearing it with pair of jeans, however, if it's for a dance recital, obviously you can't do that. This is why there needs to be snaps or velcro, especially for much younger children.I am a little bummed that I paid extra to have this shipped in a certain time frame and it still didn't show up on time. Not Amazon's fault by any means as apparently it was an issue with the shipping company, but I'm still out that money I paid for the express ship.Beautiful quality just what I wanted for my daughters ballet classes. She is 2’11” and the body is just right with the sleeves being a bit long. Very happy with my purchase.Very nice, pretty leotard, good fabric. Only one criticism is that neckline is wider than on the picture.Fits my 4 year old perfectly. Soft material too. Absolutely love this and will be purchasing more.Perfect for my four year old... looks great (white leotard) will be ordering other colours.Great little item and great service.
